When Brooklyn based artist and coders collective ‘Red Paper Heart’ were asked to ‘create a memorable interactive experience in water’ by UrbanDaddy, their first idea was to create a light projected animated pool party that revellers could swim through.
But how get past the problem of casting light projections in the fluid surface of water? Simples—order 65,000 ping pong balls to fill the pool and invite some good people over! The result is unforgettable. The video shows an explosion of colored artistic visuals and people having the time of their lives—with some synchronized swimmers thrown in for good measure. This ping pong pool party is an excellent way for businesses to interact with consumers and create an event that leaves a lasting impression.
