Piano Stairs Encourage People to Get Some Exercise

A group of people in Odenplan, Stockholm noticed that there were much more people using the escalators than the stairs in the subway station. The group decided to conduct an experiment to see if they could make people use the stairs by adding in a bit of fun. What they came up with is the Piano Stairs and it seems to have worked, judging by the video above.

The Piano Stairs actually make real piano-like notes when the keys (or stairs in this case) are stepped on. Check out the video above to see how people made their music and got some exercise.
