ecoLogicStudio Creates the Photo.Synth.Etica Collection

London- based architecture and design firm ecoLogicStudio presents the Photo.Synth.Etica collection, which is developed by Marco Poletto and Claudi Pasquero. The capsule is comprised of three pieces and it operates as a biophilic circular system that is backed by the AIReactor at the root. This filters air to help with algal growth to eventually convert into a biopolymer.

This is an alternative plastic material that the studio uses with a 3D printer to create the other two products in the Photo.Synth.Etica collection. This is a compostable stool design and a biodigital ring. The main AIReactor has a unique design that looks like a wooden floor lamp inspired by mid-century themes. It is formed by birch plywood that supports a photobioreactor that holds up to 10 liters of photosynthetic micro-algae cultures.
