Parody Personality Drinks

This Comical Juice Cleanse Art Installation Satirizes Pop Culture

Artist Josh Kline parodies the juice cleanse craze and pop culture with his latest art installation titled Skittles. The series features a fridge with various fake juice bottles filled with random ingredients that make up popular personality types.

In places like New York the juice cleanse is a rapidly growing phenomenon that many people are clinging to. Kline's Skittles installation satirizes this craze by creating fake juices that represent various stereotypical personality types. The juice bottles are based off of the popular BluePrint juice cleanse drinks that list the ingredients openly on the front of the bottle. However inside each of Kline's juice bottles is a series of random objects and liquids that make up personalities like the 'Tourist'. For example the Williamsburg juice bottle epitomizes a stereotypical Williamsburg resident with ingredients such as as cheap sunglasses, cupcakes, a Cronut and Starbucks coffee.
