Polish artists Sepe, Chazme, and Nawer have collaborated to form the group of performance painters ‘Street Fighters’.
The painters have teamed up with DJs Drumz and Kixnare to develop a live painting/live music mashup. The team creates a tri-canvased piece in front of a small audience, while the DJs spin slow jam hip hop. The audience watching gets a close view of not only the process of the art work, but the raw emotion and feeling that goes into the work. The team uses spray paints, found objects, and freestyle sketching techniques. The rendering of the final piece becomes an experience, rather than a simply a final destination. The audience is artist.
