I’ve never heard of term ‘park and ride facility’ before, but apparently they have not only been around for quite some time now and I’ve used them on a number of occasions! Designed to allow public commuters to park their cars nearby, these facilities encourage responsible transportation.
KCAP Architects & Planners is collaborating with JHK Architecten to bring a new park and ride facility to Utrecht. To be finished by 2011, I can only hope many commuters take advantage of it!
