Brown-Bagged Boutiques

Philip Salem's Store 'OWEN' in NYC is Meticulously Designed with Paper Bags

Recently college grad Philip Salem has hit it big with his boutique 'OWEN' in NYC. Managing to accomplish a great deal just two years out of school, he's making headlines for the design of the store, which features 25,000 paper bags.

Salem hired Jeremy Barbour of 'Tacklebox' to bring this vision to life, and the results are astounding. The arch at the side of the store, a standout angle of the architecture, is an interesting detail which effectively sets the boutique apart from a sea of similar New York stores. Along with the excellent style of the space, the shop is decked out with lust-worthy attire, all chosen personally by Salem.

Dynamic and with a twist of old-school flair, what's not to love about this Meatpacking District shop? Already featured in more than a few publications, OWEN is destined to be a smashing success.
