The Heng orb lamp is a futuristic take on the traditional appearance of a table light source by opting for a hollowed-out design that is controlled by two metallic beads suspended in the centre. The small orbs are magnetized and naturally pulled towards one another which acts as the on and off switch for the light.
The futuristic aesthetic of the Heng lamp might be what first draws consumers to it, but it has an equally innovative interior mechanism that powers the device. The orbs located inside the centre of the hollowed out frame are pulled towards one another using magnetics. The design allows consumers to play with the force and strength of the pull to turn the light on and off.
