Outdoor Urinal Installations

The First Open-Air Urinal in San Francisco is Now Open for Business

Here just in time for Super Bowl 50, San Francisco installed their first open-air urinal. Beginning today, locals can pee in public, addressing the city's longstanding problem of public urination. While some locals might be pissed the football event is coming to their city, they can at least be reassured people will be publicly urinating in the wrong places less.

The open-air urinal is located in Dolores Park and is open for business. The bare-bones installation may not be very pretty, but it will stop people who need to relieve themselves from doing so in direct view of passing MUNI trains. The facilities essentially consist of a hole in the ground with a white curved wall to address splash back.
