Afro-Centric Soccer Balls

The 'Marhaba' is the Official Match Ball of the African Cup of Nations

The Adidas Marhaba is the official match ball for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Equatorial Guinea in early 2015. The word 'marhaba' means 'welcome'.

The ball was designed by Adidas together with the Confederation of African Football, which oversees the tournament. The ball features a highly distinctive gold and blue coloring that aims to represent the African continent's contrasting landscapes, from the vast Sahara desert to the even more vast blue skies.

The technology incorporated into the bladder and carcass of the Adidas Marhaba is identical to that of the Brazuca, which was used in the 2014 World Cup and is the official match ball of the UEFA Champions League.

The ball is available for purchase at selected Adidas retail outlets and partner retail stores.
