The children's education video featuring Nuclear Boy was created as a way to slightly educate the young kids in Japan without scaring them with too much information. The short film compares the nuclear threat to the poop and stench of Nuclear Boy.
The current problems of the nuclear plant are being called Nuclear Boy's upset stomach and the potential disasters have been metaphorically transformed into a poop accident. This education video, definitely takes the threat and turns it upside down into something that kids can grasp and understand without instilling in them a fear of more disaster.
The people behind this Nuclear Boy film are definitely a very creative group. I never would have thought of translating nuclear disasters as bowel movements.
