Gearing up for the US Open, NikeLab is creating a luxurious version of its 1970 style tennis shoe -- the NikeCourt Tennis Classic. Designed in all black with black laces, these are a rebellious take on tennis apparel that's often required to be white. This reversal in color represents a modern opposition of old classic country club rules and regulations.
The shoe has a translucent thick gum sole for a well-gripped bottom enabling functionality on the court. Using premium leather and a perforated logo of the iconic "swoosh" on the side, the shoes are a class act. Sure to be popular with both athletes and lazier fashionistas, these Nikecourt Tennis Classic designs will be released in late August.
