Sock-Infused Boots

The Nike LunarTerra Arktos Boot is Designed for the Cold

Arctic voyagers and winter lovers will want to keep their toes warm with the LunarTerra Arktos Boot by Nike. This design is engineered to withstand extreme cold and features a multi-piece design that sets itself apart from competitors.

The two-piece design is supposedly inspired by the Japanese tradition of removing one's shoes prior to entering a home. Subsequently, the boot contains a soft 'inner boot' or sock that can be removed as well. This inner sock allows for additional warmth and comfort. The actual boot is also infused with some technical features: Flywire and Hyperfuse for fitting, Vac Tec molding to ensure that there is no leakage and a Lunarlon outsole for extra comfort and cushioning. These features have been popularized on other Nike sneakers in the past.

These boots are set to release this October at select retailers only.
