The NextWorth iPhone Infographic Shows the iPhone's Meteoric Rise

The total number of iPhone devices Apple has sold as of September 2013 is a whopping 387.4 million -- just enough for the USB cords of all those phones to reach the moon, according to an iPhone infographic by NextWorth, an electronics trade-in site.

The length from Earth to the Moon is 238,900. The combined number of iPhone USB cables sold is 240,748. Among the other facts in the infographic, the iPhone 5 is faster, has a larger memory size, more screen pixels and holds more storage space than the 2003 iMac G4. In fact, the G4's memory size was only 256MB, while the iPhone 5 has a memory size of 1GB.

Interestingly, the iPhone always uses the time 9:41 in all of its promotional images because in the first unveiling of the iPhone, that was the time that Steve Jobs had planned to exhibit the first photo of the iPhone -- 41 minutes into the presentation.
