Custom Crafted Crest & Ring Designs for 'New Moon'

The Volturi Family Crest pendant for the ‘New Moon’ movie is crafted using rare petrified dinosaur bone inlaid with pearl, and studded with garnet and diamond. The ring is enameling set in antiqued sterling silver. Both pieces of New Moon jewelry are Rich Thurber-produced designs.

Thurber, owner of Artisan’s Designs in Portland, Oregon and White Salmon, Washington is the fine craftsman behind the New Moon jewelry, the jewelry used in the original Twilight film, and the jewelry in the upcoming sequel, ‘Eclipse.’

Working with initial drawings by the film’s costume designer, Thurber and his team make a wax model mold, melt and pour precious metals into the mold to cast the piece, and finish with setting gemstones and polishing.
