Anti-Discrimination Fashion Campaigns

This New Diesel Campaign Takes a Stand Against Hate

#MakeLoveNotWalls is the title of the new Diesel campaign, which promotes acceptance, unity and the power of love.

In addition to a series of promotional images that make this message clear, the brand created a commercial which corresponds. It starts out with a male model, who's shown walking towards a heavy-duty wall that's topped off with barbed wire. He throws over a flower and shortly after, another is sent to him by the people on the other side. Eventually, they all blast through the wall and celebrate their love for one another.

Nicola Formichetti, the Artistic Director who was behind the new Diesel campaign, explained the brand's stance by saying, "At Diesel, we have a strong position against hate and more than ever we want the world to know that."
