Swiss UAV's NEOS300 has a Unique Aerodynamic Design

Switzerland-based Swiss UAV has designed and developed an unmanned helicopter that combines function with aerodynamic design.

The NEOS 300 is a traditional main and tail rotor assembly with a shell made out of carbon composite materials. The nose of the NEOS 300 provides space for cameras, laser and radar systems. The helicopter also has several removable lids for an easy access to modular electronics and mechanical components. The helicopter is powered by a 12kw JetA1 single turbine generating a speed of 120km/h.
