The Nemesis Skate Cycle is a Badass Piece of Charitable Art

The Nemesis Skate Cycle is a steampunk version of the FreeRider Skate Cycle from Brooklyn Workshop. The Nemesis was created by steampunk artist Doktor A, and has the unusual distinction of being a functional piece of steampunk art.

The Nemesis Skate Cycle was created for Brooklyn Workshop's upcoming art gallery, with proceeds from the event going towards Japanese tsunami/earthquake relief. The Nemesis been given the complete steampunk treatment, with a rust-colored paint job replacing the Skate Cycle's default white one and two spikes added to the top of each wheel. Earlier, I described the Nemesis Skate Cycle as functional, but I would like to retract that statement as I have just now realized the consequences of falling from the Nemesis and landing on its front wheel. Probably better to keep this one off the streets and in the gallery.
