Nathan Halpern Creates Arts and Crafts with Personality

A resident of Mevaseret Zion, Israel, Nathan Halpern is a graduate of the visual communication program in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Born in 1947, for fifteen years he has been one of the country's most prominent illustrators, providing designs mainly for children’s books.

For the past five years, though, Halpern has been sculpting and creating ceramic animated figures and creatures. Nathan's work is showcased at the Neve Tzedek galleries, Eretz Israel Museum and other famous galleries around the country.
