Nanoarcade is a gaming device that looks like a classic arcade machine, but is scaled down to 1/10th the size. There are other miniature arcade gaming systems on the market -- such as the iCADE and PinBall Magic -- but the Nanoarcade is unique in that it doesn't need to be used in conjunction with a smartphone or tablet.
The system can run any Java-based games -- not always the most advanced games, but classic games that deliver a retro experience.
The creators of the Nanoarcade are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to bring the system to production. Early backers can secure a device for only $39. The device will be shipped out in April 2015 if the campaign hits its fundraising target.
