The MySoda Woody Sparkling Water Maker is Made with Biocomposite

The MySoda Woody sparkling water maker is a new offering from the Finland-based brand that will provide consumers with a more eco-friendly option to choose.

The machine is crafted with a wood-based biocomposite in the construction instead of just having plastic alone, which positions it as a more sustainable alternative to other offerings on the market. The unit is made from 99% renewable and wood-based materials including 60% of the biocomposite that has renewable tall oil in the mix as well as 40% wood fiber.

CEO David Solomon explained the new MySoda Woody sparkling water maker further saying that, "We wanted to introduce a brand new device into the product category of sparkling water makers – a product free of plastic, distinguishing it from many other small household appliances. Consumer surveys also indicated that the design of sparkling water makers on the market did not please consumers. We conducted uncompromising product development with our partners for three years and created a device that is both pleasing to the eye and made of environmentally friendly material."
