Multi-Country Cab Rides

£2,000 Taxi Fare from UK to Germany

When you miss a flight from the UK to Germany for your friend's stag night, what's a guy to do?

Well, one British man forked out just shy of £2,000 to make the 740 mile journey from Portsmouth, UK to Munich, Germany in a cab. Now that's a quality friend.

It took 17 hours, but he still made it to the Munich beer fest in time to party with his pals.

At first, the cab driver, Mick Hogan, thought it must be a joke.

"It's not something I'd want to do every day but it beats taking a few pensioners out to the shops," he said.
