The MSV Explorer Catamaran is Ideal for Undersea Scaredy Cats

I'm a huge chicken when it comes to submarines, but I might just be able to stomach a trip on the MSV Explorer Catamaran. The MSV Explorer Catamaran is a unique submarine that lets you see the world under the sea without actually having to go too far down under it.

The MSV Explorer Catamaran was created by Chris Garner from GRP Laminates and is designed to be used like a reverse catamaran, with a slow speed and no dive capabilities. The sub has room for two and is electrically powered with a battery life of seven-and-a-half hours. The craft is designed to be launched from the MSV Explorer Sub-Surface craft, a party boat of sorts with room for 12 people and a live video feed into the submarine below.

Garner envisions these crafts being used by luxury resorts, and I am right there with him. Guests are already paying a pretty penny to rent jet skis and boats; imagine what they would pay to rent their own submarine complete with mother ship.
