Ventilated Prefabricated Building Foundations

Geoplast's Modulo Project Decreases Building Times

Geoplast launched the Modulo project to make it easier for developers to streamline the time it takes to safely lay down the foundation of a building, while also saving them on material costs.

Using the Modulo modular formwork, developers can create ventilated foundations that reduce the amount of concrete needed for a project. When used for an industrial building in Agigea, Romania, Modulo filled the space between foundation beams to decrease the moisture and radon gas that rose up from the soil underneath it. The use of the formwork also helped to create more thermal insulation with extra crawl space allotted, making for a more cost-effective solution to thermoregulation.

With a totally modular design, Modulo pieces can be pieced together to suit the needs of all sizes of buildings.
