Indoor Modular Wooden Structures

LUO Studio Produces a Design That Answers to Sustainability

This spectacular modular wooden structure is located in a real-estate sales center in China and it was arranged by Beijing-based LUO Studio for an eco-farm operator. For this project, great emphasis is put on sustainability, communicating a green lifestyle and community-building. In order to satisfy the dynamic character of design today, LUO Studio creates the modular wooden structure to be "easily adapted or dismantled."

For the project, the architects used natural materials, producing a "structure, made up of units that could be produced from just three components." The puzzle-like composition of the modular wooden structure is not only intricate and aesthetically pleasing but also exceptionally functional as it allows space for customization — either through extension or reduction.
