Jungsoo Lee’s Design is Envisioned to Help Restaurants During COVID-19

Designer Jungsoo Lee has created an interesting modular food truck concept, with the hopes of "helping restaurants recover from the COVID-19 economic losses." The new interpretation is not only chic but also functional. It incorporates " a removable seating area for guests to enjoy their favorite restaurant’s food with the full "dine-in" experience they’ve come to cherish."

Each modular food truck comes with two modules that can be detached—the top part is meant for cooking, while the bottom quarter forms the seating area. These modular food trucks could be possibly rented by the day and are envisioned by Lee to solve the number one pressure for restaurants during COVID-19—having to pay monthly rent while experiencing a severe decrease in diners.
