Millennial-Inspired Furniture

'Les Basic' Was Designed to Suit Millennials' Lifestyles

Designer Alexander Lotersztain has debuted 'Les Basic,' a collection of Millennial-inspired furniture. The collection consists of seating, tables, outdoor furniture, lighting and accessories and was designed with the intention to "slow Millennials down."

A modular sofa, and a bed side table that doubles as a drink trolley are some of the pieces Lotersztain created in response to data that stated the demographic born between 1980 and 2000 are living "substantially different to generations before." Other modular furniture items are included to ensure long term use, while another sofa system, dubbed 'Homework' features built-in power outlets and a wooden surface that doubles as a desk or table.

To suit their individualized, socially connected, fast-paced lifestyle, 'Les Basic' explores pieces that express an "anti-loud" ideology -- simple pieces that can evolve and grow with an individual's personal design aesthetics.
