Mike Brodie is an artist with a passion for exploring the world and meeting people. His project, entitled A Period of Juvenile Prosperity, is an artistic outcome of his adventure-seeking personality and artistic abilities.
The Arizona-based photographer started taking Polaroid photographs in 2004 when we found a camera at the back of his friend's car seat.
He traveled across 50,000 miles through 46 states and documented the lives of the very far-fetched and enclave train-hopping community.
The project features the unknown faces of train intruders all over the United States. Mike Brodie does a phenomenal job documenting their nonchalant interactions sitting on top the rapidly moving train, the care-free resting periods as well as the unfortunate times of their journeys, such as when the train-hoppers get sick with no way of access to any medical help.
