The Micro Four Thirds OM-1 is a Powerful Mirrorless Camera

Japanese camera and electronics manufacturer OM Digital Solutions has released the Micro Four Thirds OM-1, a premium mirrorless camera that comes equipped with a new sensor and a range of major technology upgrades. Moreover, the new unit has been launched as a tribute to OM's 50th anniversary of the original OM film SLR.

The Micro Four Thirds OM-1 features a 20.4-megapixel Live MOS sensor with a "quad pixel" AF arrangement and a high-speed TruepicX processor. As a result, the new camera can shoot RAW images at up to 50 fps in electronic shutter mode with autofocus or 120 fps without autofocus.

According to the company, the new camera is targeted towards wildlife photographers as it has been designed to handle highly detailed images while boasting mpressive RAW capture options.
