McDonald's Announed that it is Discontinuing the 'McCafe Bakery' Brand

McDonald's recently announced that it would be dissolving the McCafe Bakery brand and retiring several items currently offered under this branding. While the McCafe Bakery is the branding on top of any pastry snack served at McDonald's, the brand confirmed it will only be retiring three key items at this time. The three items are the apple fritter, cinnamon roll, and blueberry muffin. However, the company will soon replace these items with new offerings under the unified McDonald's brand.

The McDonald's account has already suggested the addition of a new cookies and cream pie, as well as new currently-unrevealed menu items, meaning that McDonald's is in no way downscaling its brand or downsizing its menu, it is merely restructuring to better meet consumer demands across its many regional markets.
