McDonald's Happy Meals are Conceptualized with Eco Packaging

The McDonald's Happy Meals might undergo an eco-friendly upgrade. Many consumers have pointed out the company's lack of sustainable practices, which the fast-food giant aims to change by making its Happy Meals greener. According to the McDonald's company, the Happy Meal fast food toys are set to upgrade; they plan to use recycled plastic or plastic sourced from renewable materials to create their toys in the future.

There are no confirmed dates thus far; however, Regina Lim, a Malaysian designer, created a conceptual series of Happy Meal package designs, dubbed the Happier Meal. The Happier Meal is free of plastic and made from sustainable materials. Moreover, the designer created a forest-themed design that incorporates all of McDonald's iconic branding with a fairytale twist inspired by the forests in East Malaysia.
