Manga Farming Art Project Uses Recycled Comic Books to Sprout Sprouts

Japanese comic books are some of the most popular and wide spread comic books around, however the Manga Farming Art Project is showing a different use for some old editions. Koshi Kawachi takes old Japanese Comic Books, soaks them, and places radish sprouts in between the pages. The comic books act as both the pot and soil for the seeds to grow. The Manga Farming Art Project may quite possibly be the coolest recycled garden I have ever seen. If you don't have Manga comic books, just dig (ha ha) up some thick books, they should work equally as well.
