Lunch Money Days is an Annual Campaign by Second Harvest

In the most adorable way possible, the Lunch Money Days campaign in Toronto asks people for their lunch money to provide people in need with meals.

The annual campaign is launched by Second Harvest, Canada's largest food rescue organization. Second Harvest believes in never throwing out perfectly good food; the organization drives around the city of Toronto to collect donated food so they can feed people in over 215 social services.

The goal of this campaign is to get every Torontonian to donate the same amount of money they would spend on lunch. In 2012, Second Harvest raised enough money to make 675,000 meals. Won't you 'peas help' and 'lettuce give back' to every starving person in the city.
