Luminawesome Games and Wired Productions have released Lumote, a 3D puzzle platformer where you play as Lumote, a bioluminescent creature who seeks to defeat the Mastermote and save the Great Depths. At its core, the game details two opposing sides fighting each other for dominance. Lumote’s only two abilities as a protagonist are to jump and to possess. By taking control of beings called Motes, players are able to use their special abilities to beat the puzzles. Whatever control the Motes are under determines whether they will aid or hinder players in their journey.
Containing six towers and 50 puzzles, Lumote’s distinct animation style is unbeatable. Lumote is available on Nintendo Switch and Steam.
