The pandemic has given brands the opportunity to flex their creative muscle when it comes to connecting and engaging consumers, and Lowe's curbside Halloween is a perfect example of just that. With festivities and large gatherings cancelled, Lowe's Halloween experience presents a responsible and family friendly alternative to trick-or-treating.
The brand is inviting guests to reserve spots for a curbside event, in which a group pumpkin carving will be taking place.
In a statement, Lowe's evp Joe McFarland said "While the pandemic has changed many elements of everyday life, the tradition of trick-or-treating doesn’t have to be one of them". Pumpkins are being provided, and costumes encouraged but not required. The event is taking place at 1,700 stores country-wide.
