L’Occitane en Provence Launches New Line of Sustainable Hotel Amenities

L’Occitane en Provence, a French luxury beauty and bath brand, has launched a new suite of sustainable amenities designed specifically for hotels. According to the company, the new line was created in an effort to help hotels reduce their carbon footprints by reducing the need for single-use plastic.

Like the brand's other popular lines -- Aromachology, Citrus Verbena, and Shea Verbena -- all of the new hotel-oriented products were formulated in the beauty brand's high-tech laboratory, which is located in southern France. The new eco-friendly line is representative of the brand's broader commitment to sustainability; L’Occitane en Provence has stated that by 2025 it aims for 75 percent of its bottled products to be entirely recyclable.

"We are delighted to unveil our new sustainable eco-designed amenities, which greatly reduce waste and the need for plastics in the hospitality sector," says Frédéric Darque, general manager for B2B and spa at L’Occitane.
