The Little Green Dress Projekt is an Array of Sustainable Leafy Formalwear

The term "green is the new black" is something commonly used for stationary and other appliances that received an eco-friendly makeover; Nicole Dextra's Little Green Dress Projekt applies that phrase to cocktail dresses.

For this green art display, 21 flirty organic decompostable dresses decorated the VanDusen Botanical Garden. Materials such as green leaves, Mountain Ash berries and Crab apples were strung together to form saucy knee-length garments perfect for a night out and a late night snack. The dresses are a way to spark environmental awareness in the fashion industry and create a beautiful display of clothing.

The garments for the Little Green Dress Projeckt were made from July to mid-September, and will remain on wooden racks as sustainable fashion alternatives until the end of the fall month of October.
