Lesia Trubat's E-Traces Create Art on Smartphone Displays

Wearable technology is becoming more and more mainstream as Lesia Trubat's hi-tech ballet slippers show. Although they made waves on the Internet late last month, it has since been noted that when paired with the accompanying app, the movement captured when wearing Lesia Trubat's designs are works of art. Dubbed Electronic Traces, they were reported to improve form, yet much more can be done with them.

As Fubiz writes, Lesia Trubat's ballet slippers "gives abstract paintings created digitally and interactively thanks to micro-controllers Lilypad Arduino. The concept was to transform the movement in visual sensations and traces." As a bonus, dancers can correct or compare their movements as they wish, which will help better their talent and performance overall.
