Inclined Forest Refuges

The 'Les Seves' Tent Was Designed to Take a Load Off Your Back

The priorities of tent design include portability and maximum durability, yet even the former consideration can rarely make an ideally compact camping shelter. Unusually, the 'Les Seves' tent concept was developed by Marin Destison with the intention that it be kept on-site.

Made of water-resistant fabric with a lightweight reinforcing frame, the ready-to-camp refuge allows the user to have that outdoorsy sleeping experience of being more in touch with nature. The little tilted haven is, however, much like a cabin because it remains in the same general area to lodge different pairs of hikers as they pass by.

Specifically, the 'Les Seves' tents would be scattered throughout the SÉPAQ national parks of of Quebec. They enable the adventurous to carry less in their backpacks for more convenient and easy trekking.
