Conceived by Yuhui Wang and team, the apparatus consists of an organic plastic base that's roughly the length and width of your typical pylon. Designed to have more of a height, the Dynamic Traffic Cone integrates solar panels that power the system of bright red LED lights. The cone itself coils compactly into the base for easy storage and flexible use, and its center can simply be withdrawn to form the tall pointed shape that can be seen by distant drivers.
