Cartoon-Inspired Charity Dolls

The Lanvin Christmas Doll Collection is for a Good Cause

Lanvin has teamed up with Dessine l'Espoir, a french charity organization that translates to 'Designing Hope,' to create the Lanvin Christmas Doll Collection.

The four handmade dolls are already available in various Lanvin locations. Designed by Alber Elbaz, the creative director of Lanvin, the actual dolls were sewn by HIV-Positive women from a landlocked country in South Africa. The dolls uncannily resemble a famous (animated) fashion icon that we'd be hard-pressed to forget: the legendary miss Betty Boop. Each doll is decked out in couture duds that the seductive Miss Boop would have approved of.

It wouldn't feel like the Holidays without spreading some cheer and good deeds around, so if you're in the position to do, purchase a doll and contribute.
