The international beauty brand Lancôme has partnered with the NAACP - The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People - to provide a new scholarship fund that helps young women advance in their educational pursuits.
Named the 'Write Her Future' scholarship fund, this initiative empowers women to take control of their futures by pursuing entrepreneurship and mentoring courses. The scholarship offers 30 regional grants valued at USD 10,000 each. To be eligible, students must have graduated high school and be enrolled in a college program for the 2022 academic year. The scholarship is open to females of all ethnic origins.
Lancôme's USA president Stuart Leich explains that there is currently a lack of female-focused scholarships, and because of that, the company is thrilled to partner with the NAACP to help fill that gap.
