Kristin Cumings Fabricates Famous Portraits from Jellybeans

Iconic paintings of the past have been remixed to appeal to the sweet tooth in everyone, as Kristin Cumings produces jaw-dropping paintings like the Mona Lisa, Starry Night and war-time propaganda poster We Can Do It! solely with jellybeans.

You do not have to be an art-lover to drool over these pieces. Attention to detail is evident, as every shade and wave is carefully accounted for. The quality of the pieces are undeniable. What's even more impressive is that all of the portraits are life sized. Cumings took 50 to 60 hours to complete each one, using anywhere from 12,000 to 19,000 beans per painting.

Her creations are certainly an eyeful, as one wouldn't think there were even that many colors of jellybeans before surveying Kristin Cumings' work.
