The Kisai Kaidoku Timepiece is Cool and Techy

There are so many different watch designs out there that it really takes a lot to stand out these days, but the Kisai Kaidoku timepiece does just that. Instead of digital numbers or a classic clock face, it tells the time with words.

Designed by Tynan Mayhew, the Kisai Kaidoku watch went into production after he sent the concept to the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog. The guys over there were so impressed that they decided to manufacture it.

The Kisai Kaidoku watch boasts a stainless steel case and buckle, a leather strap in a black or white finish and an electroluminescent backlight which glows blue, green or purple. It features the numbers one to twelve, which is read in sequence to tell the time.
