Old Movie Theatre Converted to Giant Bowl Workspace for Comvert

Comvert is a store founded by skateboarders that specializes in clothes, skateboards, and accessories under the brand name Bastard. When they needed a flagship store, they took an old movie theater in Milan and hired Studiometrico to convert the huge space into a huge skate park.

The Comvert skate bowl is suspended in the middle of the office/retail space and is in use constantly.

Implications - The main entrance of the cinema is now the main entrance of the skater store. The creators made the store not only to sell items, but to meet people who are just like them. The cashier desks and fitting rooms have been made from left over wood panels for an eco-friendly touch.
