Child-Centric Electric Cars

These Kids Cars Boast Sports Utility and Task Utility Attributes

Shark Wheel, a California-based startup that made a big splash when it emerged back in 2013 with a cubical skateboard wheel that has since been applied to various modes of transportation, is now looking to attract children's attention with the advent of electric kids cars in the SUV and UTV formats.

The SUV versions of these kids cars come equipped with a pair of 35-watt electric motors, while the UTV offers a pair of 40-watt motors. These vehicles come with simple single-button start and speed selectors as well as the ability to drive forward and in reverse. Fitted with 12-volt batteries, these electric kids cars are capable of being driven for up to 45 minutes on a single charge.

The SUV is targeted towards younger children aged up to five years and the UTV is designed for kids up to eight years. They can be reserved through pledges of $289 and $489 respectively on Indiegogo.
