Toothy Beverage Branding

Kido Milk Packaging Smiles About Calcium for Your Pearly Whites

Children have quite a bit of sway over parents at the supermarket, and there's little doubt that Kido Milk packaging wouldn't appeal to the kid in all of us.

Turkish graphic design student Esra Oguz developed these adorable cartons to contain the Pinar creamy white beverage in flavors chocolate, strawberry and banana. The shape she opted for diverts from the usual juice box benchmark, pulling the edges in on an angle and creating a pair of legs at the base.

Where this aesthetic succeeds is in the way that it takes on the form of a tooth, referencing the oral benefits of calcium consumption from milk. Secondly, the cardboard feet of the Kido Milk packaging give the containers an anthropomorphic form that's completed with a wide illustrated smile.
