The Kayserius Traffic Light Was Designed Specifically for Turkey

Art Lebedev Studio has designed the Kayserius traffic light for Kayseri, Turkey. The city, located in the central part of the Eurasian country, asked the studio to create a traffic light that was modern and progressive, like the city itself. The result is the Kayserius traffic light, a slim stoplight that is both functional and eye-appealing.

Kayserius still uses the same color scheme as other traffic lights, but it also displays the words "Go," "Stop" and "Caution" in addition to its colored lights. The overall look of the lights is certainly modern; you don't realize how fat today's stoplights are until you've seen a slimmer design such as this. Art Lebedev Studio kept cost in mind with this design. The entire light is one piece, making creation cheaper and installation easier.
