The Qilin House by JP Architects has a dominating material used throughout the construction: timber. Because of this, the entire house is extremely cozy, and reminiscent of a cabin or cottage.
The house is also quite small, adding to this intimate setting of the abode. The outside is covered in timber, which also extends to the inside of the house too. Different sections are featured throughout the house to allow for eating, sleeping and relaxing, along with views of the back garden area. While this design may not be suitable for a large family, a couple or family of three could easily make this abode personal and comforting.
