Jordan 10 Doernbecher is One Of This Year’s Most Anticipated Snea

Daniel Pena is unlike most other 12-year olds: he suffers from a bleeding disorder called hemophilia—he is also the shoe designer of the Jordan 10 Doernbecher. His amazing story and passion has allowed for his own sneaker to be released later this year under Jordan Brand and Nike.

The 2013 Jordan 10 Doernbecher is is part of the Nike Doernbecher Collection, which has allowed patients of the Doernbecher hospital in Portland to be nominated to design a sneaker on behalf of Nike and Jordan Brand. This hospital is also home to Nike’s official headquarters. This year’s release will feature the iconic Jordan 10 which features some of Pena’s hobbies and favorite colors: glossy camo print and an insole that features BMX-patterns.

The Doernbecher collection raised $6 Million for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in the past and this upcoming release will help to contribute to this great cause the DB10’s will be available online and in certain retail locations later this year.
